In 15th century Europe, advances in printing and paper-making made books and illustrations available to everyone; no longer was information restricted to monks and kings. Knowledge and new ideas spread rapidly paving the way for the Scientific Revolution and the Age of Exploration.

500 years later, new technology and a spirit of adventure combined in our commitment to the goal of “landing a man on the Moon and returning him safely to the Earth”.

"Medieval Space Race" is my lighthearted tribute to the awe-inspiring achievements of 20th century space explorers told in the illustrated narrative style of the late Middle Ages.
